Luke Gialanella is currently a junior at Boston University, where he is studying International Relations and Political Science. He founded GOVLEARN at the age of 11, shortly after the 2016 presidential election, driven by a desire to address the lack of substantive civics education for elementary and middle school students. Luke's dedication to civic engagement extends beyond GOVLEARN; he has worked for the United States Senate and served on Congressman Ted Lieu's Youth Advisory Council and the City of Los Angeles Youth Council, furthering his commitment to empowering young people through education and public service.
